One of my favorite things on All The Social Ladies is when I hear someone's passion that starts on the side and is able to be turned into full-time career. I love the story from Lia Zneimer who works on the brand team at WeWork. She just started pinning on the side when she was at Scholastic out of pure passion for the brands that she was working on. Next thing she knew, she was working at in social media. Take a listen.

So I feel like I should start this podcast by singing "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" because today I get to talk to Deborah Marquardt who is the Chief Marketing Officer of The Diamond Producers Association. This is a new association that started in 2016 and their mission is to protect and promote the integrity and reputation of diamonds and the diamond industry. The thing that I was most fascinated with was how Deborah was able to help start a conversation shift around diamonds going from the traditional fairytale to more authentic storytelling. Take a listen!
