Bree Noble is an entrepreneur, a musician and a speaker. Exposed to hundreds of independent artists on her radio show, "Women of Substance", she felt they needed help. She took her marketing talent and put it to work-- creating a second show that teaches female artists the entrepreneurial skills they need to succeed in the music business. The thing that I found most fascinating was her approach to social media for these entrepreneurs. She even taught me a thing or two. Meet Katie Bisbee, the Chief Marketing Director at DonorsChose.Org -- a nonprofit that allows teachers to post their specific classroom needs to the public. Prior to joining DonorsChoose.org, Katie launched a customer acquisition business at Red Ventures, a company ranked on the Inc. 500 list as one of the nation’s top 20 fastest growing companies. She also has experience in market research for commercial, non-profit and political clients. Katie earned her M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, where the faculty awarded her the Hyde Fellowship for her contributions to the school.

Meredith Fineman is the founder of FinePoint, a communications and professional development company that empowers leadership through public relations tactics. Jennifer Watson is a meteorologist, storm chaser, space weather geek and social media specialist. She started with The Weather Channel in March of 2014, where she is a Social Meteorologist/Social Media Specialist. There she co-manages, TWC's social pages, posting forecasts, breaking weather information and more. Along with that she works on a variety of social media campaigns for the company. Prior to moving to Atlanta, Jennifer was an on camera meteorologist at WHNT-TV in Huntsville, AL where she also was a science reporter and helped to manage the station's social media accounts and weather blog. Before Alabama, She started her career in Tupelo, MS at WTVA-TV.

Carla Zanoni is responsible for for exploring and developing state-of-the-art news delivery and storytelling, including new social media platforms and texting platforms for The Wall Street Journal. She also serves as Audience Development Director, overseeing both the social media team and newsroom analytics team. 

Before coming to the Journal, Zanoni led national digital and social strategy at New York and Chicago-based DNAinfo.com and worked as a metro reporter for more than a decade in New York City, writing for numerous city-wide publications, including The New York Times. 

Born in Argentina and raised in New Jersey, Zanoni is an alumna of Columbia University School of Journalism. She started her journalism career as a freelance reporter, and also helped start City Hall (now called City and State), the first weekly newspaper dedicated to New York City politics. She then founded a successful hyperlocal blog, learning how to quickly build a community on social media. 

She received four awards while covering New York City since 2001, including an award from the New York Press Association for a two-part series on street prostitution and another from the Newswomen’s Club of New York for her coverage on Occupy Wall Street. 

She is a regular panel moderator and public speaker, appearing on Fox News, C-Span, NBC, and WNYC. Her specialties include social media, audience growth, community building and digital publishing.

Lyndsay Signor is the director of Social Media Marketing at NBC Sports and the Olympics. She has been in this role since January, 2013 and is responsible for overseeing social media strategy and social media initiatives and operations for content surrounding the sports that air on NBC and the NBC Sports Network. In 2014-2015, she lead the social media strategy and execution behind two of the year’s largest sporting events: 2014 Sochi Olympics and Super Bowl XLIX. Lyndsay is a three-time Emmy award winner, two time Emmy award nominee and in the Spring of 2015 was named one of Cynopsis Media’s Top Women in Digital. Prior to her career at NBC, Lyndsay served as a producer at Trailblazer Studios in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Diana Plazas is the Director of Global Brand Marketing for DoubleTree by Hilton, at Hilton Worldwide. In this role, Diana oversees advertising, offline and online media, as well as marketing and social media strategy for the brand and its more than 400 hotels in over 30 countries around the globe. Diana has been working with the brand since 2009 and previous to that she managed search engine marketing for the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of brands, where starting in 2006 she worked on both organic and paid search marketing strategy. Deirdre K. Breakenridge is Chief Executive Officer at Pure Performance Communications. Jessica Kalbarczyk is the eternal optimist with a passion to learn and expand her already in-depth of knowledge of social and digital communications. A Buffalonian by heart, and South Carolinian by home, Jessica currently manages social media for Furman University in Greenville, SC. Jessica started her own communications consultancy, Glass Half Full Communications. The experience helped to solidify Jessica in the social media industry both on a regional and national scale. Within a year Jessica was hired by Samsung Electronics to manage and build their social media customer support. For close to three years, Jessica went from a one-woman show to seven employees managing all customer concerns via social media. Within that same year, Jessica turned back to one of her first loves, higher education. She has since been with Furman University for almost a year.
