Pop quiz! Do you know what a "Yerd" is? A yerd, is a "Year Book Nerd." I learned that from Katherine Morgan who is the social media manager at Herff Jones, maker of student year books. They have such an interesting strategy about how they engage socially with these yerds which, is all the kids and advisors that are on year book committees, to help them convince others of the need to have a printed year book. It's no surprise that the shift to digital has had a tremendous impact on this. Their approach really is fascinating - take a listen!
