Laurie Meacham is the Manager of the Customer Commitment and Social Media team JetBlue Airways. She helped shape JetBlue's social strategy and form the framework for a cross departmental working group. Officially started in October 2010, the Salt Lake City-based team currently consists of 25 crewmembers and operates in tandem with New York City-based experts from other departments, including Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Loyalty to address customer concerns or deliver real-time customer feedback to those internal resources best suited to address them.

As Global Lead of Global Consumer Engagement for Gap in NYC, Tricia Nichols is responsible for creating a consumer-first plan that bonds between brands and consumers.  Her focus is on digital, social, media, partnerships, branded entertainment & music. Prior to Gap, Tricia’s career included both agencies and brands, including Managing Partner at MediaCom, Senior Lead of Portfolio Projects at PepsiCo and a Group Leader role at TracyLocke.  In these roles, she led activations in emerging media, multicultural, local marketing, social/mobile loyalty, shopper & branded entertainment.   She also helped launch the first PepsiCo10 platform. Tricia is currently an active advisor to start-ups within the retail, digital, entertainment and music spaces & was once an Adjunct Professor.

On today’s show we are speaking with Amanda Brooks; Marketing & Communications Manager for USA Track & Field. Amanda took over managing USA Track & Field’s social marketing efforts in November 2013. Since then, USATF has seen a follower growth of over 200% across all platforms. Before her time at USATF, Amanda spent six years working in college athletics as a sports information director. She began her career at Vanderbilt University, where she attended graduate school and worked in the athletic media relations office with every varsity sport. Amanda then took an internship with the Florida Gators in June 2010 and was hired full time a year later. While there, she worked with the football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s track and field, women’s lacrosse and women’s volleyball programs. Her teams combined for three NCAA championships and four conference titles in her time with the Gators. Along with managing social media for USA Track & Field, Amanda is a spokeswoman for USATF at many domestic and international elite track & field competitions.

Previously, she held executive leadership roles at two of the top lifestyle PR/Marketing agencies in the country - DeVries Public Relations' Home & Lifestyle division and at LaForce+Stevens. In these roles she led programs for a variety of brands such as Belvedere Vodka, Veuve Clicquot, Rockstar Games, Magnolia Bakery and Dale Carnegie Training to name a few.
